TEMPLE OF THE RAINBOW
40" X 30"
This is my first
painting. It was finished in 1970. Its' concept was born in
Los Angeles. Late one night, in an elevated
state, I
drew this rainbow design on the insides of 4 very large windows.
After the sketching was finished later that
morning, I spent the next two weeks painting the exterior of those
windows on the building that was to become,
a landmark in the community of Silverlake,"The Temple of the Rainbow" a
Rock 'n Roll
nightclub.

BLUE
STAR
48"
X 48"
An idyllic
impression of our world! The view at the left side of the orb was
the view outside my studio window.
The mountains are in the Sierras of California, in Kern Canyon. The
tree with the roses and lilies represents the
coming together of the spirit & physical. The white glow above the
pool containing a grouping of diamonds, each
radiating rainbow rays outward. The diamonds are elevated above
the canvas and signify a presence in this life.
The Native American Rainbow
Bridge, and to pass over it a sentient being must sensitive to the Earth
Mother. The pool is as deep as the consciousness
itself. The sun...of course and the bubbles represent
the universe. This piece, utilizing many symbols,
does not profess to know the answers; but, is a fair
representation of them.

SIGNATURE
30"
X 72"
,
This is my
signature...follow closly...a drop in the left corner seeps smaller
droplets; then divides into the 6
separate colors each signifying a different aspect of our physical and
emotional plane. Then come together
at the base of the fall; rising to break at the top of the fall and
descending in drops to the multi-colored pool
with the large colorful KISS bobbing on the surface; then, brimming
over, the pool overflows in a sheet of
multi-colored liquid separating into descending droplets.

CASTLES
20"
X 30"
A study of minerals. This piece is represented by
various crystal castles. In the mineral world all crystal
formations are individualized by (1) the difference in color, and (2) a
difference in the peaks and number of facets.
All of the "castle" formations are organic and grow
from a base of gold & silver. The central cloud, flashed
with color, emits separate rainbow ribbon scrolls and is
elevated above
the canvas; as is the entire lowest
crystal formation.

CAMEO
36" X 48"
Mirror inages
sometimes reflect all or part of what's to be seen and sometimes what
is not to be seen by
the eye...a stained-glass
butterfly floatinga
simple rosebud, dripping with dew...both contrast a rainbow
aura
boralis...an exploding star, light years in
the future...all set in a plum atmosphere.

AT
THE SEASHORE
48"
X 48"
Rainbow seaweed highlights the shallow ocean...swirling
around luminous nautilus shells and
a fish at the left swims forward leaving the shadows of where it had
been.

CREATION
48"
X 48"
The universe was created on the first day...as it is written. The
"Big Bang" explodes from a
central crystal and energy moving outward, at the speed of light...the
galaxies are formed!
All of these primary galaxies, now in their respective positions in the
universe, expand forever
outward. On the sixth day
life was created, imagined here by the universal sperm,
moving through the
depths of space only to find firmament on our "Blue Star".

COLLISION
40"
X 30"
A slice in the fabric
of space...the momentary non-collision of two stars, each with planets
in orbit
